Hello again! Welcome to our newsletter's White Rose Muses Feburary edition – we have a lot to share!
First, we would like to reintroduce Issue 02—Ikigai! For those who follow our Instagram, we’ve already been posting about it for a while, but for anyone who doesn’t, submissions are open for Ikigai and will be open until March 1st! You can submit poetry, short stories, prose, artwork, and photography as long as they relate to our theme!
We also have the White Rose Muses Art Competition open now! It has two themes: ‘Metamorphosis: The Lack of a Permanent State of Self’ and ‘Adagio: Capture the moments of your life where the background music begins to slow’.
The winner will receive a certificate, a guaranteed place on Issue 02—Ikigai, an interview, and the opportunity to be on the cover of Ikigai!
We are also very proud that Introspection is out! We held a poetry competition in collaboration with Where Emotions Flow. Poets were encouraged to submit poetry related to the word introspection and that captured intense emotions and self-reflection. Our winners’ poetry was also compiled into a mini magazine, which is out now, so go check it out!
